February 7, 2005 marked the opening of Gethsemane Baptist Child Care and Learning Center. Our sole purpose is to provide parents a Christian alternative to commercialized child care. The day care also allows us to reach out to the community in yet another way to spread and teach God’s Word.
It is our intent to provide high quality child care to each, individual child in a well maintained, safe, and nurturing environment. Our goal is to help teach your children basic, necessary social behaviors and to help each child with the start of their educational process. The Christian principles of the Word of God are the focal point and used in every area of this ministry. All teaching endeavors are age appropriate.
Our staff consists of: Director, Brittany Gibbons; Preschool Teachers, Jessica Hill and Holly Gilliam; 2 Year Old Teacher, Amber Page; 1 Year Old Teachers, Jordan Harper and Holly England; Infant Teacher, Trisha Nunnally; Kitchen, Carla Keller; Sub/Closers, Raleigh Wilson and Kelsi Adwell.
Our normal hours of operation are 5:30 a.m.to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, however, alternative accommodations could be made. We still have openings for all ages, as well as after school care. We are a routine bus stop for Temple Hill Elementary School.
Our fees are based on a 9.5 hour day and range from $45.00 to $105.00 per week for full-time enrollment and $7.00-$25.00 per day for part-time enrollment.
Any child enrolled in the daycare who also attends Sunday School at Gethsemane Baptist Church will receive a $2.00 per day discount.
If you would like to enroll your child, complete the enrollment packet below and bring to the Day Care Center.
